You pay for each attempt

Each part is a separate application and a separate fee. If you need to retake one part, you pay that part's fee again. You get 3 attempts at each part before PEBC requires approved remediation.

Costs outside PEBC

PEBC certification isn't a licence. After you pass, you register with your provincial or territorial regulator, which charges its own fees. Check those with your regulator.

Most candidates also pay for an accredited training program. Tuition varies a lot by college and province, so ask each school directly.

No tax receipts

PEBC says not to ask it for a receipt for income tax purposes. It doesn't issue tuition tax slips for exam fees. Prometric's emailed Notice of Completion is your receipt for Part I.
