AppyElephant has no accounts and no sign-up. You can read every page and use the practice tests and study planner without telling us who you are. This page explains the little we do collect. Last updated 28 October 2026.
AppyElephant is a free website of study guides and practice tests for licensing and admissions exams. You can reach us at hello@appyelephant.com.
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people use, so we know what to improve. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser and sends Google details such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the type of device and browser you use, and roughly where you are. Google handles this data under its privacy policy. We see the totals in reports; we don't use them to identify you.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, or with Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. The site works the same either way.
Two small settings are saved in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, and never leave your device:
Your practice test answers and study plan stay in your browser while you use them. We don't receive them.
If you tell us which country you'd like us to cover next, we add one to a running total for that country. We store only the country and the count, not who voted. The vote is also recorded as an event in Google Analytics.
If you email us, we use your message and email address to reply, and we keep the conversation in case you write again. We don't add you to a mailing list or share your email with anyone else.
The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and basic request details to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, under its privacy policy.
Our pages link to exam bodies, government sites and study providers. When you follow a link, that site's own privacy policy applies.
Some tests on this site, such as learner's permit tests, are taken by teenagers. The site needs no personal details to use, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has emailed us personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email hello@appyelephant.com and we'll answer.
If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
