11 Plus practice test

Here are 20 free 11+ questions for your child: verbal reasoning, vocabulary, comprehension, grammar and maths, at Year 6 level. They’re original questions in the multiple-choice style many areas use, not copied from a real paper, and there’s no non-verbal reasoning because those need pictures. Aim for 70%, which is 14 right. That’s our practice target, not an official pass mark, because the 11+ doesn’t have one. Each answer comes with an explanation, and anything your child misses comes back at the end.

Question 1 of 20

In a code, CAT is written as DBU. Using the same code, how is DOG written?

Sample of the test: same format, 20 questions.
