What you pay for
Acuity doesn’t list a single price on its help pages. To see yours, open the Dates and Fees page, pick Canada, your program type and your schools, and it shows the fees with the dates and deadlines.
- A base testing fee, paid once for each Casper test type you take.
- A distribution fee for each program on your list. Scores go to programs, not whole universities, so two programs at the same school count as two.
- The fee also covers Duet, a separate short assessment, if one of your programs asks for it.
Rescheduling and cancelling
| What you do | Cost |
|---|---|
| Reschedule 31 or more days before your test | Free |
| Reschedule within 30 days of your test, or after it | $20 |
| Swap one program for another on your list | Free |
| Cancel before you start the test | Allowed, but no refund |
The $20 fee can be waived for a documented technical or medical issue. You can only move to a date that’s still open for your programs.
Mistakes that cost money
Fees can’t be moved to another admissions cycle, and there are no refunds for booking the wrong cycle, the wrong program or the wrong test language. You also can’t retake the same test type in the same cycle to improve your score. Check the test type each program asks for before you pay.
Help with fees
If you’ve been approved for a participating US or UK fee assistance program, such as AAMC, AACOMAS, CASPA, ADEA or a UCAS bursary, your Casper fees may be reduced or waived. You upload proof of your approval when you book. Acuity’s help pages don’t name a Canadian fee assistance program, so if you’re applying only in Canada, ask the program or Acuity support.
