GRE practice test

Here are 20 free GRE-style questions: 10 Verbal and 10 Quant, in the same styles as the real test, including text completion, reading and quantitative comparison. We wrote them ourselves for the current shorter GRE. The real test has 54 questions plus an essay, and no pass mark, so aim for 14 right out of 20 as a practice target. You’ll see why each answer is right, and you can ask the tutor if it still doesn’t click. For full-length practice, take ETS’s two free POWERPREP Online tests.
