Mailing documents to NDEB in Ottawa

Paper documents for your application, such as notarized ID copies, forms and sworn affidavits, go by mail or courier to the address above, addressed to NDEB. For the Equivalency Process, documents can’t be emailed or uploaded to NDEBConnect.

Some things travel another way. Universities can send transcripts electronically through MyCreds, Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse or My eQuals, and licensing bodies can email statements of good standing from an official account. NDEB keeps documents that third parties send it and doesn’t return them.

Getting to the NDECC Test Centre

The Test Centre is in the building with the Starbucks at Albert Street and Kent Street, and the elevators to the 12th floor are near the Starbucks. It’s about 4 kilometres from the Ottawa train station.

Plan your trip so you arrive at the check-in time on your schedule. NDEB warns that travel times change with the time of day, transit schedules and bad weather. Bring your photo ID: you sign a confidentiality agreement at check-in, get an NDECC card to wear all day, and the centre is monitored by closed-circuit television (CCTV). Family and friends aren’t allowed in the check-in area or the Test Centre.
