When are CPA exam scores released for AUD, FAR and REG?
Your file reaches the AICPA from Prometric after you test, so testing on the last possible day doesn't guarantee that release. NASBA suggests testing one or two days before a cutoff.

Scores after the July 2027 change
When the exam moves to its new platform in July 2027, scores slow down for about a year. The AICPA says it has to recalibrate questions with new response data before it can report scores. Its targets for the first quarter on the new platform:
- Core sections taken July 12 to September 30, 2027: October 19, 2027.
- Core sections taken October 1 to December 15, 2027: December 28, 2027.
- Discipline sections taken July 12 to August 12, 2027: September 28, 2027.
- Discipline sections taken October 1 to 31, 2027: December 17, 2027.
How to check your CPA Exam score
The AICPA scores the exam and sends results to NASBA. In states that use the CPA Portal, your score shows there and in the NASBA CPA Mobile app, usually within 48 hours of NASBA receiving it. Your official Score Notice generally follows within 72 hours. Some boards release scores themselves and can take an extra day.
Neither NASBA nor your board can release a score early. If you fail, a Candidate Performance Report also appears in the portal, showing your weaker areas.
