INBDE practice questions from the JCNDE
The JCNDE posts a PDF of 39 sample questions, written by the people who build the exam. Its 2025 Technical Report says they’re “provided free of charge”. Read its warning, though: it says they’re best used to get used to the question formats, it doesn’t guarantee they’re accurate or up to date, and you shouldn’t limit your preparation to them.
They’re copyrighted, and you may use them for individual study. So we don’t reprint them here.
What does INBDE Bootcamp include?
These are Bootcamp.com’s own claims, from its pages in November 2026. Every plan lists the same material:
- More than 3,000 INBDE questions, plus 550+ shorter “Bites” questions and quizzes
- The Mental Dental video library
- An INBDE simulation exam
- High-yield cheat sheets
- An AI tutor and a mobile app
Bootcamp says you can start studying for free, but its pages don’t spell out what the free part includes. Its pass guarantee covers the three and six month plans only: you get a refund if you fail after meeting all three of its “Pass Targets”.
Is there an official INBDE practice test?
Not a full-length one. The JCNDE’s prepare page offers the sample questions, not a timed exam. These are the ones we found, and only the first comes from the exam’s owner:
- JCNDE: its sample questions, which aren’t timed or scored
- Prometric: a 30-minute Test Drive of the test center routine, with a 15-minute sample that the JCNDE says is generic and not the INBDE
- Bootcamp.com: an INBDE simulation exam, sold in its plans
- Dental Decks: three 500-question online practice tests, sold in its package
Remembered questions and released exams
The JCNDE’s prepare page lists sample questions, not released exams. Be careful with sets of “remembered” questions. The JCNDE’s guide says obtaining, using or sharing exam questions is strictly prohibited, including memorized ones posted online, and that it can void results or take legal action.
Building an INBDE study schedule
The JCNDE doesn’t publish a study schedule. Two of the companies below do. Dental Decks posts 45-day and 60-day plans, and Bootcamp.com says its schedule creator is free and builds a day-by-day plan from your start and exam dates. Your exam date sets the end point, and the JCNDE tells you to book 60 to 90 days before the date you want.
Before you plan the content, read the JCNDE’s update list. It says which guidelines the questions follow, such as the 2017 periodontal classifications.
