Where to get it
The current PDF was updated in November 2024. It shows King Charles III as Australia’s Head of State, so if your copy still mentions the Queen, it’s out of date.
Which parts to study
Focus on these four. The test picks its 20 questions from them, with 5 always coming from Part 4.
- Part 1: Australia and its people
- Part 2: Australia’s democratic beliefs, rights and liberties
- Part 3: Government and the law in Australia
- Part 4: Australian values
What you can skip
Parts 5 and 6, Australia today and Our Australian story, are interesting background, but they’re not on the test. Leave them until after you pass.
