When are the LANTITE test windows in 2027?
| Window | Registration | Test dates |
|---|---|---|
| Window 1 | 12 to 25 January 2027 | 15 to 28 February 2027 |
| Window 2 | 6 to 19 April 2027 | 10 to 23 May 2027 |
| Window 3 | 6 to 19 July 2027 | 9 to 22 August 2027 |
| Window 4 | 28 September to 11 October 2027 | 1 to 14 November 2027 |
Registration opens between 10am and 12pm on its first day and closes at 5pm Melbourne time on its last day. You can sit literacy and numeracy in the same window or in different ones.
What else is due when registration closes
The registration closing date is the deadline for more than just booking. It’s also the last day to:
- apply for reasonable adjustments, with your supporting documents
- cancel a booking and ask for a refund
- change your test centre session, or switch between a test centre and remote proctoring
- fix a mistake in the components you booked
After that, test centre bookings are final, and no booking can be moved to a later window. If ACER grants adjustments you don’t think are right, you can ask for a review up to one week after registration closes: for Window 1 in 2027, that’s 5pm Melbourne time on 1 February 2027.
Booking a remote session inside a window
Remote proctoring runs from the first day of a window until 5 days before it ends, at any hour, subject to the times open with ProctorU, the company ACER uses for remote proctoring. You schedule each component separately through the “Log in to ProctorU” button in your ACER account, at least 72 hours before you want to start. ACER posts each window’s exact cut-off for scheduling and sitting on its remote proctoring page.
ACER says to schedule as soon as you’ve registered. Places for the last days go first, and it’s possible to find nothing left late in the window. If you cancel within 24 hours of your session or don’t show up, you’re marked absent and can’t book another session in that window.
Test centre locations and session times
ACER’s 2026 list had test centres in all eight capital cities in every window: Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Regional centres in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland ran in some windows only, and ACER lists each window’s centres on its Test centres page.
Centres don’t open every day of a window. Each day has up to four sessions, and your Admission Ticket gives the exact address and reporting time about a week before the window starts. ACER doesn’t release addresses earlier, for security reasons.
| Session | Report by | Finish by about |
|---|---|---|
| Session 1, morning | 7:30am | 10am |
| Session 2, morning | 10:30am | 1pm |
| Session 3, afternoon | 1:30pm | 4pm |
| Session 4, afternoon | 4:30pm | 7pm |
These times are ACER’s indicative ones and can vary a little between centres. You can book sessions on the same day, back to back, or on different days.
