The PEBC Certemy portal, your PEBC ID and how to contact PEBC

The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) runs its Candidate Portal on Certemy, so the sign-in page is at pebc.certemy.com. This page is a guide to it, not PEBC’s sign-in: to sign in, use the button above or go to pebc.certemy.com. The portal is where you apply, pay, track each step and pick up your letters from the Digital Wallet. The one rule to remember on the PEBC Certemy portal: once you have an account, never use an enrolment link again, or you’ll create a duplicate.

  • 2Business days to allow for a reply
  • EmailHow PEBC mainly contacts you
  • 3 to 5 a.m.Daily maintenance, Eastern Time

How do you sign in to the PEBC Certemy portal?

  • Bookmark the Existing Portal Account link and use only that to sign in.
  • New candidates pick one of three enrolment links, by where they graduated: Canada, the United States or another country. The link decides which applications you see.
  • If you had a PEBC ID before the portal and were active within four years of July 2021, an account was made for you. Sign in with the email PEBC has on file and choose Forgot Password.
  • Two-factor authentication became part of sign-in at noon Eastern Time on July 29, 2026.
  • Add noreply@certemy.com to your safe senders so notices don’t land in junk.
  • In the portal, a “credential” is what PEBC calls an application.

Some help videos were made by Certemy and don’t all apply to PEBC, so use PEBC’s own user guide first. If your account closed through inactivity, email PEBC to reactivate it rather than opening a new one.

How to get your PEBC ID number

Your PEBC ID appears in your portal account once it’s set up. You don’t need it before sending a paper application, so there’s no need to ask PEBC for one. Put it on every email and message after that.

It isn’t the national ID number from Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada, which you also quote. Results lists show PEBC ID numbers, not names.

How to contact PEBC

PEBC answers by email, and asks you to allow two business days. Include your PEBC ID, your full name, your national ID from the National Association of Pharmacy Regulatory Authorities (NAPRA), if you have one, and the email on your account. Use the address for your topic:

  • Document Evaluation, Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) reports and Document Evaluation withdrawals: doceval@pebc.ca
  • Exam withdrawals: withdrawals@pebc.ca
  • Exam accommodations: eac@pebc.ca
  • Exam and ID and Education Verification applications, results and anything else: pebcinfo@pebc.ca

PEBC phone number and address

  • Phone: 416-979-2431. PEBC says you’ll likely leave a voicemail, and it will most likely reply by email.
  • Fax: 416-599-9244
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time

The mailing address is The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada, 200‑59 Hayden Street, Toronto, ON M4Y 0E7. PEBC doesn’t accept visits or documents handed in by candidates. Courier anything you send, with tracking, no signature requirement and a declared value of $0.

Other sign-ins you’ll need

  • Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada, for your national ID and document repository: gatewayinfo@napra.ca or 613-569-9800, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time
  • Prometric, for booking, rescheduling or cancelling a Part I appointment, on prometric.com
