Start with the official UCAT website. It has free question tutorials, 15 question banks and 12 practice tests that run in the same software as the real test. The UCAT Consortium, the Medical Schools Council and the Dental Schools Council say they don’t endorse any paid-for preparation. Below, we’ve compared the official resources with paid courses and tutoring people use in the UK and Australia.
Four full practice tests, each in standard, extra-time and untimed versions, plus question banks for every subtest. They run in the same software as the real test. Scores aren’t saved, and they work best on a desktop or laptop.

Australian UCAT ANZ prep. Essential lists 20,000+ questions and 25+ mocks. Premium adds a two-day workshop, and Comprehensive adds 10 hours of one-to-one tutoring. The site cites a 4.9-star average from 5,370+ reviews. The iPhone app is rated 4.0 from 68 ratings in Australia.
