ASWB login: signing in to ASWBCentral

For exam candidates, the ASWB login is ASWBCentral, the system run by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) where you register, book with Pearson and see your results. You sign in with one email address and password, and if you don’t have an account, you create one with your email. This page isn’t ASWB’s site and has no sign-in, so only type your password on ASWB’s own page.

What can you do with your ASWB login?

  • Apply for exam preapproval, in Colorado, Maine, Texas and Utah
  • Request nonstandard testing arrangements
  • Register and pay for your exam
  • Schedule your appointment with Pearson
  • Buy the online practice test
  • Download your results, a copy of your Authorization to Test and your receipts
  • Send a passed exam’s results to another state or province
  • Report a test center incident, ask for a 90-day waiver or an excused absence, and buy an extension

Signing in to the ASWB practice test

The online practice test has its own site, products.aswb.org, and your username there is your email address. If you’ve forgotten your password, use “I forgot my password” on that page. Once you’re in, “My Practice Test” is on your dashboard, and your 30 days start when you press the green Launch button.

If you can’t scroll down to accept the terms and conditions, ASWB suggests a screen resolution of at least 1280 x 960, or zooming out in your browser.

What happened to the Social Work Registry?

ASWB is closing it. The Social Work Registry stopped taking new applications and renewals on March 16, 2026, and existing accounts stay active through March 31, 2027. Members can ask for a copy of their full Registry file before then. ASWB says the Social Work Licensure Compact, adopted in 30 U.S. states by March 2026, takes over the Registry’s job of helping social workers move between states. Your exam results stay in ASWBCentral either way.
