Your GED study plan

Pick your test date and you get a GED study plan for the days you have left: 40 short lessons across Math, Language Arts, Science and Social Studies, in a sensible order. It ends two days before the test with our 20 practice questions. What it can't tell you is whether you're ready to book, so add the official checks on the side.

Where does GED Ready fit in a GED study plan?

Near the end of each subject. Take the free test preview at the start, so you know where you stand, then study. When you've finished a subject's lessons, take GED Ready for it. A score of 145 or higher means you're likely to pass, and it's required within 60 days if you want to test online.

GED.com says it takes about 2 to 4 months on average. Some people study one subject for about 3 weeks and test, others study all four for about three months and test in one day. Either works with this planner: just set the date of your next test.
