LMCC login: your physiciansapply.ca account

The LMCC login, for the Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada, is your physiciansapply.ca account. The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) runs it, and it’s where you apply for the Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE), see your results and get your LMCC number. This page isn’t physiciansapply.ca and isn’t run by the MCC, so never enter your MCC password anywhere but the MCC’s own sign-in.

What you do in physiciansapply.ca

  • Apply for the MCCQE and the National Assessment Collaboration (NAC) Examination, or withdraw
  • Submit source verification requests (SVRs) for your medical credentials
  • See your results and share them, and your credentials, with medical regulatory authorities (MRAs) and other organizations
  • Find your LMCC number under Profile, or request your LMCC if you applied for the MCCQE before January 26, 2026
  • Apply for medical registration, and request an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) report

Documents in a language other than English or French need an English or French translation that meets the MCC’s rules before you upload them. MCC preparatory exams use a separate sign-in, the MCC’s Practice Test Portal, and your exam booking is on Prometric’s website, not here.

Opening a physiciansapply.ca account

  1. Go to the sign-in page at portal.physiciansapply.ca and choose to create an account. Typing physiciansapply.ca on its own opens the MCC’s Services page on mcc.ca, which links to the sign-in.
  2. Follow the instructions to set it up.
  3. Pay the one-time account setup fee by credit card.

If you had an old MCC-Online or Physician Credentials Registry of Canada (PCRC-Online) account, don’t open another one. Contact the MCC’s service desk to get into your existing account.

Having trouble with your LMCC login?

The sign-in page has “Forgot your password?” and “Forgot your username?” links. They only work once your account setup is complete. If that doesn’t work, contact the MCC:
