CeMAP books and study materials

The study texts come with your registration. For CeMAP 1 and CeMAP 2, the London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF) provides them online, and printed CeMAP books are sold on Amazon if you’d rather read on paper. CeMAP 3, the last module of the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), has interactive revision material instead of a study text.

What comes with your CeMAP registration

Besides the study texts and the CeMAP 3 revision material, LIBF lists these for every CeMAP learner:

  • a student-led discussion forum
  • introduction videos for each unit
  • one Practice Exam for each unit
  • a weekly study planner
  • a tax table
  • syllabus updates
  • MyLIBF, the student portal, and KnowledgeBank, LIBF’s virtual library

While you study, you also become a Member of LIBF (MLIBF), which LIBF says brings careers support and networking events.

LIBF’s CeMAP revision videos and audio

Revision videos, CeMAP 1£125
Revision videos, CeMAP 2 and 3£125
Audio revision, CeMAP 1£50
Audio revision, CeMAP 2 and 3£50

The videos break topics into short lessons with worked examples and knowledge checks, on any device. LIBF also sells three months of online tutor support, called Ask the Expert.

Where can you buy printed CeMAP books?

LIBF sells its printed textbooks through Amazon, so a paper copy is an extra you buy, not part of the registration.

CeMAP revision guides and books from other sellers aren’t checked by LIBF unless they come from one of its accredited providers, and LIBF warns that they might be incomplete, inaccurate or out of date. Books from before September 2025 cover the old CeMAP 1, UK Financial Regulation.
