HESI exam results: when and where you see them

Elsevier says admission exam results show up in about 24 hours, in the HESI course in your Evolve account. Your school can also let you see a score on screen as soon as you finish a section, or hold your HESI exam results until everyone in your group has tested.

Where are HESI exam results in Evolve?

  1. Sign in at evolve.elsevier.com.
  2. In your My Evolve list, open the HESI Assessment resource, your HESI NG course.
  3. Click Exam Results, then expand your exam to see the results and download the reports.

Elsevier keeps HESI results available in Evolve for exams taken within the last six years. For anything older, contact the school where you tested.

When your school lets you see them

Your school chooses whether you see scores after each section, after all sections or not at all during the exam, and whether you see final results when you finish, after your whole group tests, or not at all. Elsevier recommends schools let you see results when you finish, so you can start remediation straight away.

Remediation after the exam

Online remediation is free. Your school sets a benchmark score, and for each topic where you score below it, Elsevier gives you study content, sent as packets of textbook chunks under the Remediation tab. Your school chooses whether they arrive as soon as you finish, after the whole session, or on a set date.

How to study for a retake →

If your results aren’t there

  • Wait the full 24 hours.
  • Ask your instructor to confirm your results were uploaded to HESI.
  • On older HESI courses, use the Don’t see your exam link with the school department ID and student ID from your results email.

Sending your HESI A2 transcript

  1. On the Evolve homepage, click HESI Transcripts in the HESI Secured Exams section and download the request form.
  2. Check out and pay. You get an order confirmation with an Order ID.
  3. Fill in the form with the Order ID and the school you’re sending it to.
  4. Email the form and your order receipt to transcripts@elsevier.com.

Elsevier says to allow 7 to 10 business days once it has everything, and it emails the transcript to the school on your form. If the school still doesn’t have it after 10 business days, contact Evolve Support.
