PTCB exam test dates and testing centers

There's no national test day. PTCB doesn't publish fixed test dates. Once PTCB approves your application, you have 90 days to pick any open appointment at a Pearson VUE test center, and you can extend that window. The ExCPT works in a similar way: you choose a date, place and format in your NHA account.

How do you find PTCB exam test dates?

Your dates are the open Pearson VUE slots inside your 90-day authorization window, and you see them in your PTCB account once PTCB approves you. How to apply, book and extend is on the scheduling page.

PTCB exam testing centers

PTCB says the PTCE is given at more than 1,400 Pearson test centers across the US, including over 100 on military bases. Pearson VUE has a center search and a separate military base search. Arrive 30 minutes early.

There's no online option for the PTCE, so a test center is the only place to take it.

ExCPT dates and locations

After you apply in your NHA account, you can schedule straight away or later, at a PSI test center or online with live remote proctoring. If your school or employer gives the ExCPT, you may take it there instead.
