What do you need to study to pass the Life in the UK Test?
Only the official handbook, Life in the United Kingdom: A Guide for New Residents. GOV.UK says you’ll only be tested on information from it, and the booking service warns that unofficial study material online may be wrong or misleading.
Tips for the test day itself
- Book at least 3 days ahead, and with the same ID you’ll bring on the day.
- Arrive at the time in your confirmation email. The booking service’s terms set a minimum arrival time of 30 minutes before your appointment.
- Use the questions at the start. The booking service says the test opens with questions that don’t count, to help you get used to the format.
