ASVAB results: getting your scores

It depends on how you tested. On the computer at a MEPS or MET site, your scores are ready as soon as the session ends. Paper answer sheets go to MEPS to be scanned and scored, which usually takes a few days. After the at-home PiCAT you don’t see scores straight away; only your recruiter can view them. Your ASVAB results can be used to enlist for up to two years.

How long are ASVAB scores good for?

Up to two years from the date you tested, for enlisting. That includes scores from a school test, as long as they can be verified as yours. If you tested through School Staff Testing, you’ll take a Verification Test before those scores can be used.

Where can I find my ASVAB scores?

Ask your recruiter. The official pages don’t describe an online lookup for enlistment scores, and for the PiCAT and the AFQT Predictor Test only the recruiter who registered you can see the score. If you’re already serving, the official site sends you to your base education office for testing questions.

What do ASVAB results show?

The main number is your AFQT, a percentile from 1 to 99. You also get a standard score for each subtest. School tests report different composite scores from the enlistment test.
