What ASVAB score do you need for the Navy SEALs?
Navy.com lists four options. You need to meet one of them:
- GS + MC + EI of 167 or more, with AR + MK of 100 or more
- VE + MK + MC + CS of 216 or more, with AR + MK of 100 or more
- VE + AR of 108 or more and MC of 50 or more, with AR + MK of 100 or more
- VE + AR + MK + AO of 216 or more, with AR + MK of 100 or more
The letters are subtest scores: General Science, Mechanical Comprehension, Electronics Information, Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Verbal Expression and Assembling Objects. CS isn’t one of the ten subtests on officialasvab.com, and navy.com doesn’t explain it, so ask a recruiter about that option.
SWCC and Hospital Corpsman
- Special Warfare Combat Crewman: AR + VE of 105 or more and MC of 51 or more, or AR + 2MK + GS of 210 with MC of 51 or more.
- Hospital Corpsman: the career page doesn’t list an ASVAB score. It gives 1-800-USA-NAVY and a live chat for questions.
Matching a Navy job to your score
Navy.com says to speak with a career counselor about which Navy job is right for you based on your physical qualifications and ASVAB score. If your score is under what you need, our minimum scores and retake pages cover the next steps.
Navy ASVAB practice
The Navy uses the same ASVAB as the other branches, so there’s no separate Navy version to practice for. Our free practice test covers the same subtests.
