AMC login: your AMC account and contacts

The Australian Medical Council (AMC) login for candidates is the AMC account sign-in at account.amc.org.au. This page isn’t the AMC’s site and has no sign-in of its own, so use the link to the AMC’s real one. For AMC login in Australia or overseas, it’s the same account: it holds your portfolio, your Computer Adaptive Test (CAT) Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) authorisations, results, clinical exam bookings and your AMC certificate.

  • Contact formWhere the AMC takes candidate enquiries
  • 1 October 2015Accounts made earlier must be replaced
  • 3 to 5 business daysReply time from the AMC clinical team

What does your AMC login open?

  • Your AMC number and portfolio, and the verification status of each qualification
  • MCQ authorisations, placement letters and MCQ results
  • The AMC Clinical Scheduling Application, during scheduling events, and clinical results
  • Your AMC certificate and any earlier AMC verification certificate
  • Updating your contact details, photo and signature
  • Nominating a specialist medical college, and uploading more evidence

If you made your account after 1 October 2015, sign in. If yours is older, create another account; the AMC says older accounts don’t show the information and options.

Logins that aren’t your AMC account

Several parts of the process sit on other sites with their own sign-in. MyIntealth, run by the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates), is where you request credential verification. Pearson VUE’s site is where you book and change an MCQ seat. eMedici holds the AMC’s MCQ Preparation App, through the link in your AMC acknowledgement email.

The Medical Board of Australia and specialist colleges see your verification and results through the AMC portal, a separate system for them, not for candidates.

How to contact the Australian Medical Council

For international medical graduate (IMG) assessment questions, the AMC asks you to check its FAQs and then use its online Contact Form. The AMC reception can’t help with assessment enquiries. The AMC isn’t the registration authority: questions about registration go to the Medical Board of Australia.
