LNAT login: your Pearson VUE account

Pearson VUE runs registration and booking for the National Admissions Test for Law (LNAT), so the LNAT login is on its site. Sign in with the username and password you chose when you set up your account. From there you can book, reschedule or cancel a test and update your profile, including your Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) personal ID. The one thing you can’t change yourself is your name.

What can you do after an LNAT login?

  • Book a test, from the navigation menu at the top left of the screen.
  • Reschedule or cancel a test, within the rescheduling deadline.
  • Update your profile, except your name.
  • Add or correct your UCAS personal ID, the 10 digits without hyphens.
  • Check the email address your result will be sent to.

The University of Bristol suggests using the Additional information link in your account to check your date of birth, your UCAS personal ID and the universities you’ve ticked, then clicking Save and Continue.

Forgotten your LNAT username or password?

Go to the LNAT sign-in page and use the “I forgot my password” or “I forgot my user name” link under the sign-in fields. If you still can’t get your username, contact LNAT Customer Service at Pearson VUE.

To change your name, for example so it matches your ID exactly, you also have to contact LNAT Customer Service. The system won’t let you edit the name fields.

There are two places to ask, and the LNAT Consortium says to check its website and FAQs first:

  • LNAT Customer Service at Pearson VUE, for usernames, bookings and name changes: LNATcustomerservice@pearson.com or +44 (0)333 003 0764, 9am to 5pm UK time, Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
  • The LNAT Administrator at the LNAT Consortium, for results, bursaries, vouchers, exam access requirements and test day problems, among others: law-lnat@law.ox.ac.uk or +44 (0)1865 281 459.

The contact form on lnat.ac.uk goes to the LNAT Administrator, not to Pearson VUE.

Pearson VUE and the LNAT

Pearson VUE delivers the test under contract to LNAT Consortium Ltd, a not-for-profit company whose members are UK universities. Pearson VUE registers candidates, runs the test centres and sittings, marks the multiple-choice questions and sends results to universities and candidates. The LNAT Consortium decides the content, and Edexcel writes and calibrates the questions for Pearson VUE. Your contract for sitting the test is with Pearson VUE, on its terms.
