Which MCAT test dates are in Canada?
Canada has its own calendar, with 36 dates in 2027. Some fall on days the US doesn’t test, such as July 24 and August 6. Dates marked * are only at select centers: January 30 in Toronto and Vancouver, May 14 in Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver, and July 9 and August 28 in Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto and Vancouver.
The AAMC won’t give the MCAT in Quebec in 2027 because of Bill 96 rules. Canadians register through the same AAMC system as everyone else.

When should you take the MCAT?
The AAMC says there’s no single right answer, and its main advice is to take the exam when you’re ready, not when you think you should be. It suggests thinking about when you want to start medical school, whether you might need to retest, and whether you’ve covered the content. Its own example: for a fall 2026 start, you might test in 2025.
Work backward from your application. Scores take 30 to 35 days, and a retake can only be booked after your current test.
