Able Skills quotes prices with VAT and the others without, so compare like with like. NAPIT lists City & Guilds 2382‑26 as part of its qualification courses. NICEIC's and Able Skills' course pages don't say whether the exam fee is included, so ask.
The City & Guilds fee
City & Guilds lists a UK qualification fee of £69.00 for 2382‑26. Aylesbury College's online shop sells the 2382‑26 exam on its own, filed under resits, for the same £69.00.
If you've already done the learning, an exam-only booking can cost less than a course.
The BS7671 book
You need your own paper copy of BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 in the exam. The IET gives its list price as £125. The IET's digital subscription is cheaper per year, but electronic copies can't be used in the test, so it can't replace the printed book on exam day.
Cheaper updates without the qualification
If you only need to know what changed in Amendment 4 and your employer or scheme doesn't ask for the City & Guilds award, a CPD course costs less. NAPIT's classroom and virtual CPD days come with a NAPIT certificate of attendance.
