Revision Express, workbooks and CISI syllabus versions

Revision Express is the online study tool of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI), made to use alongside its workbooks. It costs £45 for a multiple-choice exam or £65 for a written one. CISI’s Revision Express questions check your understanding as you go, and its Sample Exam Standard Test is written to match the standard of the real exam.

  • £45Revision Express for a multiple-choice exam
  • £65Revision Express for a written exam
  • Over 150Bite-sized CISI elearning modules

What does CISI’s Revision Express include?

CISI describes a range of questions that reinforce your understanding of the subject, plus the Sample Exam Standard Test. CISI says the Revision Express questions shouldn’t be treated as sample exam questions, because it publishes sample papers for that.

You can buy it alone, or order a saver package of exam, workbook and Revision Express together by contacting CISI. International exam bookings already include it where it exists.

CISI workbooks and digital books

CISI’s mandatory workbook policy means you buy the latest workbook, where one exists, when you book an exam in the UK, including Northern Ireland, Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. That applies even when a training partner books for you. Outside the UK the workbook comes as a PDF in the exam price.

Digital books are sold only by CISI or its training partners, not through Amazon or other shops, and CISI recommends the Kotobee Reader app. At Levels 3 to 5 you’re expected to apply the workbook to situations it doesn’t spell out, and at Levels 6 and 7 to read around the subject as well.
