Nebraska driver’s license practice test

This Nebraska driver’s license practice test has 20 free questions written from the Nebraska Driver’s Manual, which DMV says covers what you need for the test. The real written test has 25 questions and you need 20 right. That’s 80%, so 16 of 20 is a pass here. Seven questions show a sign, a signal or road markings. Pick an answer to see why it’s right, and anything you miss comes back at the end.

Question 1 of 20

At what age can you hold a Nebraska learner’s permit (LPD), and how long does it last?

20 practice questions in the style of the written test.

How close is this Nebraska driver’s license practice test to the real one?

The bar is the same: 80%. The length isn’t. The Class O written test has 25 questions, and these 20 are ours, written from the manual, not DMV’s. Treat a pass as a sign you’re on track rather than a promise.

The questions cover Sections 1 to 6 of the manual: permits and points, signs and signals, right-of-way and speed, turning and parking, the interstate, sharing the road and alcohol.

Then try DMV’s own practice test

Nebraska DMV’s free online practice test draws on the same pool of questions as the real test, and you choose how many to answer. It’s a good second check after these 20. The where-to-learn page shows how to use it, along with the sample test at the back of the manual.
