Reasonable adjustment applications closed with standard registration, and refund and deferral requests with late registration. March deadlines fell at 9pm in eastern Australia (10am in the UK and Ireland), and September ones at 10pm in eastern Australia (1pm in the UK and Ireland).

When is the March 2027 GAMSAT?
ACER’s registration page says registration for March 2027 opens in November 2026, and gives the month only, not a day. The 2027 test windows, deadlines and results dates come with registration. A March 2027 result can be used for the GEMSAS 2028 intake.
Should you sit in March or September?
ACER times the March test for Australian and Irish admissions and the September test for the UK cycle. You can sit either one, anywhere, and use the result in any of the three countries. For GEMSAS, a September result can’t be used for the intake you apply to that same year.
Deadlines that cost extra
- Registering after standard registration closes adds a late fee.
- Changing your test centre, date or session after standard registration closes costs the same late fee.
- A deferral after the deferral deadline is at ACER’s discretion, with a higher fee.
- After late registration closes, no new registrations or changes are accepted, and there’s no wait-list.
