Motorcycle theory test centres
They’re the same centres car learners use. GOV.UK’s theory centre finder gives a map, directions and any special instructions for each, and you choose the centre when you book. There’s no waiting area for anyone who comes with you.
Where are the motorbike riding test centres?
Module 1 is ridden in an off-road motorcycle manoeuvring area, and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) says its layout depends on where you take the test. Its diagrams show the layout at multi-purpose test centres and areas with the avoidance exercise to the left or to the right. Module 2 starts from the test centre and goes out on public roads.
The finder also lists any special instructions for each centre, so read them before the day.
Pass rates at each centre
DVSA publishes motorcycle pass rates by test centre every year: one table for theory test centres and others for module 1 and module 2.
Test centres in Northern Ireland
GOV.UK’s finders don’t cover Northern Ireland. nidirect lists its theory test centres, and only six Driver and Vehicle Agency (DVA) centres run the motorcycle manoeuvres test.
