An occupational therapist wants to compare a 6-year-old’s fine motor skills with those of other children the same age. Which type of assessment fits this purpose best?
20 practice questions in the style of the exam.
How to use this NBCOT practice test
Aim for 15 out of 20. That’s 75%, a target we set, not an NBCOT rule: NBCOT reports a scaled score from 300 to 600, and 450 passes. After each answer you can ask the tutor for another way of looking at it, and anything you miss comes back at the end.
The OTR questions follow the outline’s weights, so interventions get the most (6), then evaluation and planning (4 each) and practice management (2). The last 4 cover the COTA domains: gathering information, carrying out interventions and safety.
Where can you take another free NBCOT practice test?
NBCOT doesn’t offer a free full-length practice test. Its free material is the sample OTR scenario sets, a six-option multi-select demo, the exam tutorials and a self-assessment, and its own practice tests are paid. They’re listed with prices on the NBCOT practice questions page. Our 20 questions aren’t from NBCOT, so use them to check the content, not to preview real items.
