You’re stuck in a queue of stationary traffic when your hand-held phone rings. What should you do?
Sample of the theory test: same format, 20 questions.
How does this theory test practice compare with the real thing?
The real multiple-choice part gives you 57 minutes for 50 questions, and you need 43 right. These 20 use the same four-option style and the same 86% bar, so if you score 18 or more here, you’re working at pass level.
Hazard perception is a separate part with 14 video clips, and you have to pass it on the same day. It isn’t covered here, so practise it on its own.
More free practice from DVSA
DVSA has its own free practice theory test on GOV.UK. Its questions aren’t used in the real test, but they’re based on the same topics, so it’s a good second check once you’ve done these.
