How to find your ServSafe certification, print it or check one

Log in at ServSafe.com, open the Certificates tab and choose Download certificate. That's how to find your ServSafe certification and print it, as often as you like until it expires. ServSafe can also mail you a copy for $10. To check someone else's certificate, use ServSafe's certificate search.

Where do you find your ServSafe certification to print it?

  1. Log in to your account on ServSafe.com.
  2. Open the Certificates tab, or Download My Certificates.
  3. Download or print the eCertificate, or ask for a copy by US mail for $10. ServSafe gives 8 to 10 business days for mailed copies.

ServSafe's FAQ says it can take up to 24 hours to appear, while its exam instructions say you can print it right after a pass; wait a day before contacting ServSafe. The National Registry (NRFSP) handles reprints through its own Reprint Request Form, for $20.

Check your ServSafe Manager test results

With online proctoring, you see pass or fail at the end of the session and your official result comes by email. You can also log in and open Scores. ServSafe has a Check My Scores page for exams taken another way.

ServSafe certification lookup and verification

ServSafe's Search Certificates page lets anyone check a certificate. You pick the program, such as ServSafe Manager, and enter the last name and certificate number, or the start of the first name. You can narrow it by state. There's a link for people who don't have the certificate number.

Employers and inspectors use this to confirm a certificate is real. Some states also keep their own record, which the state pages cover where it applies.
