As of October 2026, these are the weekend SAT test dates left in the 2026-27 school year. All deadlines are 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time, and the same dates apply in the US and internationally. Sunday testing is only for students who can’t test on Saturday for religious reasons.

How to sign up

  1. Create a free College Board account, or sign in to yours.
  2. Go to My SAT and choose a test date and test center. If nothing near you is free, you can join the waitlist at no extra cost.
  3. Pay the fee, or enter a fee waiver code. You can also pick your four free score report colleges now.
  4. At least 5 days before the test, upload a photo of yourself. It’s used to identify you on test day.
  5. Download Bluebook on the device you’ll test with. Between 1 and 5 days before the test, complete exam setup to get your admission ticket.

How to reschedule

You can’t move a registration to a new date. You cancel it and register again for the date you want. Canceling by the change deadline costs $34. Canceling after that, up to Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET before the test, costs $44. Changing only your test center costs $34.

Fee waivers cover the cancel and late cancel fees. If you need to fix your name or date of birth, contact SAT customer service, at 866-630-9305 in the US.

If you don’t have a device

You can ask to borrow one from College Board. Register and send the device request in My SAT at least 30 days before your test date. If you’re approved, you pick it up at the test center and arrive 30 minutes early to set it up. A borrowed device isn’t guaranteed, so request early.

Which date should you pick?

Pick one that leaves time for a retake and for your scores to reach colleges before their deadlines. Scores come out 2 to 4 weeks after most weekend tests. College Board’s advice on which grade to test in is on our page about when to take the SAT.
