Enter your UCAT date and the planner spreads 17 short lessons over the days you have, from True, False or Can't tell questions and probability to percentage change and confidentiality in the SJT. It finishes with our 20-question practice set. It doesn't book in the Consortium's four timed practice tests, so add those yourself in the last weeks, as the official advice suggests.
Pick the date of your test and how long you can study each day. You’ll get a plan that takes you right up to the test.
How long should you prepare for the UCAT?
The Consortium doesn't give a number of weeks. What it does say is to plan your preparation with its prep checklist and take the timed practice tests nearer your test date. Set your planner date first, then fit the four practice tests into the final stretch.
UCAT tips from the official guidance
- Do the Tour Tutorial early, so the calculator, flagging and keyboard shortcuts don't cost you time.
- There's no negative marking, so answer every question.
- Flag questions you're unsure of and come back if you have time left in that subtest.
