No. Utah's Division of Motor Vehicles handles vehicles: titles, registration and plates. Its own site says the two are separate agencies and sends license, ID card, driving record, permit and CDL questions to the Driver License Division. So for anything about your license, go to a DLD office, not a DMV one.

The division's list has no office in Layton, Sandy or Provo. For Davis County it lists Farmington, for Salt Lake County it lists Fairpark, South Valley and West Valley-Taylorsville, and for Utah County it lists Orem and Springville.
No office on the division's list is open on Saturday or Sunday. Only South Valley (Draper) and West Valley-Taylorsville are open 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every weekday. Hours and closures are as of October 2026 and can change.
