Louisiana Praxis tests and required scores

Louisiana requires a Praxis content test for your certification area, the PLT for your grade band, and, for early childhood, elementary and special education, a reading test. Every Louisiana Praxis test score below comes from the Department of Education’s chart, revised in July 2026 under Bulletin 746. The chart has no Praxis Core section.
